Carpenters Axe I like the texture.
The texture is well made and mapped although it would help the overall look in the render if you smoothed out the edges on the axe, as it looks a bit too used to be that sharp.

It would help if you switched from the internal renderer, try Indigo. Your wood texture and material are a quite a bit off as well.
